Quick

Well, two colleges down, one to go. I'm currently in Fayetteville, in the bookstore, using one of their sample laptops. Haha. It feels funny.

I must leave now.... off to continue the college search! Fayetteville is beautiful in the fall.

Happy Birthday Tim!!

Here We Go.

Things are about to get really crazy in the life of Caylie Lane.

Today, I'm leaving for a college visit. I'm spending one night there, and coming back tomorrow evening, just in time for a cross country meet. I'll run my 5k, and then head straight to Emily, my small group leader's house for a small group sleepover. Fun! Hopefully I can blog at some point on Saturday, because after Saturday, things will get even crazier.

For now, I'm just doing school, and planning. Whew.

I'm in a wierd mood right now. I really don't want to do school. I really want to clean my room. I want a banana, but we have none. Sigh. Maybe I just need a nap.

Nahh.

OK, I'm officially frazzled. Farewell.

So...

Hello, hello, I have returned. I haven't blogged since Saturday, have I? I guess I have a little bit of catching up to do on my life. Well, Sunday....I....

I don't...remember. This happens way too often.

Oh! I went to church, which I always love. My church is pretty great. After church, Tim came along with my family. We met my grandparents and aunt and uncle at a barbecue restaurant, which was fun. I couldn't eat the rolls. It was a bit sad. I ordered a barbecue beef sandwich, minus the bun. Haha. It felt pretty silly. After that, we went back to my house. Tim and I watched 24 for quite a while. That...is a really great show, I tell you. I really do love it. It's addicting, truly. You should watch it. From there, we headed back to the church to community group. My group went to Starbucks, which was pretty great. I got a Soy Strawberries and Creme Frapuccino with no whip. Very delicous. I highly recommend it!

....Then I did homework.

Monday...co-op. Then home. Then nap. Long nap. Then schoolwork. Then bed. This day is hardly worth expounding on.

Tuesday...hey, that was yesterday! Yesterday was a good day. I went to Chemistry class in the morning, which I actually enjoyed. Guess what? I have realized something about myself that will shock anyone who reads this. I know it shocks me.

I really, really like balancing chemical equations.

Wow, feels good to get that off my chest. I am a dork, I shall do no denying. Chemistry class was fine. Yes, indeed. From there, I went home to get some school knocked out, which I did successfully. After that, I went running with Scott and Kimberly- it was one of the best runs I remember-ever. It was perfect. The weather was wonderful, and I hadn't run in a week, which made it feel indescribably great. We ran about 3 or 3 and a half miles- I left my watch at home on accident, so I'm not exactly sure. But my point is, it was wonderful. From there, I headed to Tim's house. Me, Tim, and Gracie went to see Red in the theater. It was pretty good. Pretty funny, I guess. Haha. Definitely not life-changing.

So here I am, blogging. That's what I've been up to. This morning, I put on my new granny apron from Anthropologie and made Eli a yummy omlette and toast. It was fun- I really enjoy cooking lately. Yes, I do.

It's 8:11. I'm supposed to leave in negative one minute. I'm late. Yup. There's my life for ya.

Have a great day, doing whatever it is that you're about to do. Thanks for taking the time to read this, I feel honored. Quite honored.

Ahhhh.

Breathe in...breathe out. Ah.

Today was what one might call a whirlwind. It was never ending, and mind boggling in many ways. It began with a dead phone. How is this so, you might ask? A dead phone means no alarm clock in this particular situation. No alarm clock means waking up five minutes before you were supposed to be leaving the house, headed downtown.

Woah, let me backtrack. Sorry, my friend. This morning, I participated in the Race for the Cure 5k Run/Walk in downtown Little Rock. Thousands and thousands of people from all over came to run (or walk) in this oh-so-very pink affair. Very pink. The money raised by the race goes towards breast cancer research. So, despite a late arousal and rushed preparation, I made it to the race, and did it with my friend Chloe! We had so much fun. We had planned on running in it, but we were so thickly surrounded by walkers that that didn't quite happen. Oh well! It was an amazing experience. Totally awesome. And I'm still seeing pink.

After the race, my dad and I went out to lunch with Chloe and her dad, which was lovely. I had a sesame chicken salad. Oh my. Not only is it a salad, but it's a delicious one. And not only is this salad delicious, but it's also gluten-free! What's not to love?

From there, my whole family headed out to watch Christian's football game. Once we got there, we realized that the games were all behind, and ended up watching an entire other game before Christian's even started. Christian played hard, but their team didn't manage to pull out a win this time. Three long...long hours later, we left and headed home. Lots. Of. Sitting. At least now I can say I've done a marathon (of some sort) , though, huh?

You are probably figuring that my day started winding up about then. Well, let me be the one to tell you that that idea is entirely false. Wrong.

After football, I went shopping with my Eli friend. She...is so wonderful. We always have so much to talk about, and add shopping into the mix....wow. Good times. We both got some great stuff, too. You know, in all the time we'd been friends, I'm pretty sure today was the first time that we've ever gone to the mall together. Crazy, huh? It was really great though. She's the greatest, really. Eli- you are fabulous.

Nope. Still not done. Last stop- Tim's house. I always love going there- the whole family is so great and we always have lots of fun, often watching Chuck or some movie...yes. It's always a good time. Tonight, dinner was ready when I arrived. I had salad and a burger, minus everything but the patty. Haha. It was quite delicious! Tim's mom always makes me the best food. Pasta, chicken, salads...ahh. She's so sweet to me. After dinner, Gracie, Tim, and I watched a couple of episodes of Chuck (Look it up. Great show. No lie.) and just hung out. Yup. It was a night that made me smile.

Which brings me to...right now. I'm sitting in the laundry room/office, trying to decide whether I should head to bed now or not. I probably should, considering that I have church in the morning...but then again...agh. I've never been one to make decisions. I at least want to brush my teeth. For anyone randomly wanting to know something random about me... I always brush my teeth as soon as possible after a run. Always. Not that I just ran. My brain just works like that. In a swirly manner, that is. But yes, running leaves my mouth feeling pretty weird. Quite unpleasant, frankly.

Well, I should stop babbling before I hit the point of no return. Thanks for reading about my crazy, silly, wonderful life.

Seriously?

Aaaaaghh! I made this whole long post and published it last night, and now, POOF it's gone. No more long post explaining why I've been gone for the past month. I call it a break from computers, Gracie calls it an "anti-technology binge." Whatever you want to call it, here are the facts: I don't hate electronics. It may seem that way after all of my no-computer, no-facebook, no-texting episodes. I guess I just wanted a break. It can be too much, and it's nice to just live only in the real world sometimes. So that's where I've been for the past month. In the real world. But now I'm back to blogger, and I'm so happy to return. My fingers are bouncing happily on this keyboard of mine in celebration. Also, I promise to stop stopping things (including computer) without notice for quite some time.

Stop stopping? What's happened to me?
